Good food and good service and good disco music in the background. All in all, great vibes.

I love this place so much. It is perfect. Fantastic food not just for me but for my kids. I love it. Did Hills Diner also have fantastic service. Super fast and never forget anything. This place has a great look inside with the classic diner look but more unique. This is a perfect place for kids and adults with buster seats and a great kids selection and a great adult section. At the front they give free dumb dumbs and mint. There is only great things here and i highly recommend

Yes, Dix Hills diner was great yesterday. I had the Greek salad with steak which is an add on. The steak was made to perfection as well as the Greek salad. I have another meal from it, maybe two. I try not to go beyond standard serving sizes at each meal. Resisting eating it all was a challenge! The waitstaff was terrific. Though we hadn't intended to, we did end up going with the mousse cake, lol. I highly recommend the mousse cake. The menu was simplified and is more seasonally directed. The variety of choices is still quite extensive though like how Diners are. I am looking forward to our next visit. Yum!!!

The ambiance of the place is totally screaming diner, so that was always a good thing because you want to have the feel. The service was amazing !! Totally welcoming and friendly. Tatiana was such a great waitress. I love it when the waiters are happy and nice to the customers. 5/5 on the service. Now that we come to the food - just unbelievable amazing. The boneless wings were Top tier!! Just perfectly fried slightly !! Amazing ! The rest of the people with me agreed all the rest of the food they ordered was amazing. The pastrami was so delicious. The perogis also were so good and tasty. I rate this place 4.5/5 !!!

The space was really large and was able to accommodate my family of 5, two adults, two kids, one stroller! We got a total of 5 things. Two breakfast platter with eggs, potatoes, bacon, and toast! Was delicious! A waffle with ice cream! Again really good! And the kids for pancake stacks! Which they enjoyed! No frills, not extremely fancy, just Really good diner food!

Get the balava cheesecake!!!!!! You will thank me!!! The service was great and the vibes were perfect. I went only 7 years ago and forgot the name of the place and when I remembered because the food was so great years ago I came back and needless to say I will be coming back more often it was as great as I remembered

I was a bit skeptical to dine here because of the mixed reviews, but a friend and I decided to meet here for lunch and to my surprise I was pleased. Typical diner setting. The noise level was on the quiet side, but that was okay. The service was friendly. Our waitress gave us ample time to review the menu (so many good sounding options) and helped me decide on the Honey Fried Chicken Sandwich - two chicken cutlets, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion ring and honey mustard with sweet potato fries. Of course I had to dissect it, but that was just me being picky. It tasted decent and the portion size was plentiful. Can't say it was worth the $20 for this sandwich which I thought was pricey for diner food. My friend got the Tuscany Panini and she enjoyed it. Like I said, there were so many other options that sounded good. I think if I return I will do breakfast food.
